On November 8, 1950 this fishpacker, under the command of Captain John C. Bowden, ran aground on the southern end of Denman Island BC. This vessel was being operated as a packing tender taking salmon from Comox to Vancouver with a load of fall Chum salmon on board. Overnight this vesselrolled over on her side and the crew were safe in a dinghy when assistance arrived. This vessel was refloated on the rising tide. |
