Anecdotes
Lonnie Edward Berrow reports (British Columbia Facebook Group 01/02/2015): "this vessel was built for Elk River Timber as one of the ''Quinsam'' boats to tow around their booming grounds in Campbell River and Courtney. This vessel was then owned by Wittingham and towed bag booms around on Lake Cowichan for B.C.F.P. for nearly 20 years. My grandfather Dave Humphries bought her from Wittingham and trucked her out of the lake ,rebuilt the cabin and engine, this vesselthen joined the Humphries fleet working out of Campbell River. The boat was later sold to a hand logger out of Terrace and worked around the Nass River for years and from what I have heard on this group lays abandoned somewhere on the lonely banks of the Nass."
