On April 02, 1962 her keel was laid by Mrs. J.D. Smith. On January 22, 1963 this vessel was launched by Mrs. H.J. Bruch. In 1963 her capacity was 106 cars and 969 passengers. On April 31, 1963 her inaugural run was made by Captain B.G.K. Owen-Jones. In 2011 the vessel was broken up in Ensenada, Mexico.
