Anecdotes
On February 7, 1968 this vessel was destroyed by fire at Long Bay, Howe Sound BC and was a total loss. The crew were asleep in their bunks when they awoke to find their bunk on fire, apparently caused by the galley stove. Her crew of two (Captain Ray Young and Alvin Schochenmaier) leaped to safety on the 16-section log boom they were towing.
