In 1950 this vessel was launched by Mrs. Ken W. Morton the wife of the Federal District Engineer. In 1950 cost $120,000. On February 16, 1956, as the Hilunga, this tug owned by The Minister of Public Works, Ottawa ON sank at Kunghiti Island, Cape St. James QCI BC. This vessel then drifted to Aristazabel Island where this vessel was later salvaged. |
