Hull- Cedar/fir. Frames- Oak. Decks- Fir. Cabin- Fir. Cabin Configuration: Pilothouse forward with after cabin. Special Notes: Originally built as a seiner, converted to a hardware sales vessel in 1957. Converted to a liveaboard in 1964. Currently registered in Seattle WA. (In 1990 this vessel was designated as a British Columbia Vintage Vessel by the Maritime Museum of British Columbia.) Capt. Joseph Bettis, Deer Harbor, WA reports that "In 1957 this vessel was caught in a yard fire and damaged somewhat, but not too seriously..Capt. Bowles skippered her for 30 years for Mac and Mac, selling hardware all around Vancouver Island as Sundown Shipping Company. I bought her in the 1980s and kept her for ten years. This vessel now belongs to a new owner and is docked on Lopez Island."
