Doug Wardrop (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 02/05/2020) stated "This Spencer 31 "Skilfish" won lots and lots of races over the years, Don West, family and crew were somewhat iconic here over the years. Don passed away a number years ago but the family kept the boat. Still members of WVYC and out cruising these days."
