In 1941 this vessel was seized from her Japanese owners by the Canadian Government. In 1942 her ownership transferred to His Majesty the King. Hull- Cedar. Frames- Oak. Decks- Fir. Cabin- Cedar. Cabin Configuration: wheelhouse forward, hold converted to living cabin. (In 1990 this vessel was designated as a British Columbia Vintage Vessel by the Maritime Museum of British Columbia.)
