Anecdotes
On January 02, 1971 this mission boat owned by The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada Inc., Toronto ON was destroyed by fire off Crab Island at Holberg BC in Quatsino Sound. The Rev. Charles Benterud was returning two members of his congregation home in Holberg when the oil cooking stove exploded. CFB Holberg sent vessels to the rescue and found people in the water and still on board. Mrs. Ruth Miller and 3-year old Rita Benterud were killed and the rest of the people on board were injured. The mission boat was beached but this vessel was a total loss to the fire.
