In 1940-1941 she was owned by Sadajiro Asari, Eburne BC Canada. In 1942 her ownership was transferred to His Majesty the King. In 1943-45 she was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fisherman's Reserve as H.M.C.S. Dalehurst, a Canadian Naval Patrol Vessel, Fishermen's Reserve. She was sold into private ownership after the war. In 1945 she was owned by Falconer Marine Industries Ltd., Victoria BC Canada. In 1949-1956 she was owned by John Anderson (MO), Victoria BC Canada. In 1961-1972 she was owned by Nelson Brothers Fisheries Ltd., Vancouver BC Canada. In 1972-1977 she was owned by British Columbia Packers Ltd., Richmond BC Canada.

Anecdotes

In 1941 this vessel was seized from her Japanese owners by the Canadian Government. In 1942 her appraised value was $14,800. In 1942 her ownership transferred to His Majesty the King. In 1942-1944 this vessel was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fisherman's Reserve as a harbour service auxiliary craft as H.M.C.S. Glendale V. In 1943-1944 this vessel was a tender to H.M.C.S. Chatham. On September 4, 1976 this vessel foundered in Finlayson Channel off one mile NE of Jorkin Point BC.
